The BA-1.5 is a lightweight, double-walled, open-top cylindrical dewar flask built primarily from premium aerospace-grade aluminum alloy or corrosion-resistant stainless steel. The space between the inner and outer walls features advanced high-vacuum super insulation technology to slow heat transfer and minimize liquid nitrogen evaporation. Inside, it houses 5 individual canisters suspended from the neck. These canisters have perforated bottoms to allow the liquid nitrogen to surround the biological straws.
